Ministry in Chacraseca is done day in and day out as the people of this “base community” live out their faith by helping one another and caring for the poor, the stranger, and the orphan in their midst.
In 2010, just two months after a devasatating hurricane destroyed many homes, roads, and crops in Chacrasesa, another hurricane hit the Atlantic coast devastating those communities as well. In response, the people of Chacraseca forsook their own problems, took up an offering, and sent community members to help. “If one of us eats, we all eat,” the women agree. "We are a community.”
All stole measurements are from the nape of the neck to the end of the fabric. Sizing is a matter of preference.
Custom sizes can be made for children or very tall adults! When placing a custom order, be sure to tell us in the checkout comments what length you would like: measure from the nape of the neck down. (The total length of the stole will be twice this.)
Because of the handmade nature of Stitching Hope products, there will be some variation color and pattern. All fabrics are hand-painted.
