Join JustHope for An Evening of Solidarity.
Wednesday, June 13
5:30pm - 6:30pm
Fellowship Congregational Church
2900 S Harvard Ave
Tulsa, OK 74114
About the Event:
Nicaragua has been in a state of civil unrest since anti-government protests began on April 18. In response to continued instability and violence, JustHope has temporarily suspended our PartnerTrip program. While the landscape where JustHope has operated for the past 11 years is changing, JustHope's work continues as we stand in solidarity with our Nicaraguan neighbors.
This will be a Q & A session with a panel of distinguished guests, who aim to shed light on the current situation in Nicaragua and talk honestly about the long-term sustainability of JustHope's programs there. Panelists will include:
Leslie Penrose, JustHope Founder
Jennifer Payton, JustHope Executive Director
Rev. Chris Moore, Lead Pastor of Fellowship Congregational Church and President of JustHope Board of Directors
Dr. Kathy McCallie, Author and Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Phillips Theological Seminary
Moderator: Andrea Gardner, International Relations & Organizational Improvement Consultant
