Medicos in Solidarity is a service-learning partnership between the small community clinics in Chacraseca and Santa Emilia and a non-geographic group of health professionals in the US.
Through the Partnership, doctors and health care professionals from different cities, states, and countries collaborate to:
- Provide financial, material, and consultation support to these small, under-resourced clinics
- Create and support training opportunities for medical students from the US and Nicaragua
- Explore ways together to better address the health care needs in poor contexts
