Soluciones Comunitarias Nicaragua is a local social project supported by U.S. non-profit Community Empowerment Solutions. Their mission is to empower through entrepreneurship, facilitating the knowledge, skills and inspiration their partners need to solve challenges in their communities. Currently, they focus on assisting small-scale entrepreneurs, budding leaders and rural community members through Grassroots Consulting, community savings and loans groups and Youth Empowerment programs. Soluciones Comunitarias has partnered with JustHope through their Healthy Water program to provide 10 schools in Chacraseca with water filters and educational workshops on good hygiene and water consumption practices. The organization has also supported JustHope's team and social enterprises through consultancies with their university and corporate partners. The two organizations continue to collaborate through the regional nonprofit network "The Collaborative."
